It is the 5th temple of the Oku Mikawa Nanakanin Senkyu, which is enshrined in the main hall of Kansei Bodhisattva. Although it was originally built as a temple of Tendai sect, it is burned to battle once, then it seems to have revived as a temple of Soto sect. There is also a famous anecdote about Tokugawa Ieyasu public for this temple. It was said that when Tokugawa Ieyasu public became young age, when Takeda troops pursued and got an inn on the way while escaping, it was said that the voice of chickens could save their lives. Ieyasuke said that he gave a black stamp of a three-stone temple to reward for his gratitude.
