A beautiful terraced paddy field reclaimed about 400 years ago spreads to the mountain village spreading on the slope of Kurake mountain. Even now, 30 farmers cultivate about 420 rice fields (1296 seedlings in the peak period) in the masonry rice paddies that runs at an altitude of 220 to 420 m, and the predecessors leave the hardships of blood and sweat Without weathering the great wealth, people in the community continue to protect themselves with a sense of mission.
Clear water that springs up from the hillside of the mountain will not become muddy even if heavy rain falls. Rice paddies full of water and greenery also serve as a residence of various animals and plants, and like the one scene of a fairy tale, the original landscape of Japan coexisting with people and nature is breathtaking.
